When you work with PIE to hire an individual with disabilities, your organization gets both a qualified employee and a job coach who helps you and the new employee with on-site training and technical support. Your PIE coach can assist you with job accommodation, visual management, and other strategies to help make your new employee relationship a success. We do all of this with no fees required.
Another way to experience the value of hiring persons with disabilities is to provide an internship experience where you can evaluate a prospective employee without an obligation to hire. PIE pays the intern's wages and assumes liability.
